WE PLAY THE TOUGHEST TEAMS AROUND

Our boy's teams play in The Eastern Hockey Federation, affectionately known as simply “THE FED”. The FED has been the preeminent Youth Hockey League in the North East since its inception in 2004, having teams and associations consistently ranked in the Top 5 Nationally. Originally established by the Bay State Breakers, Boston Jr Eagles, Boston Jr. Terriers, Bridgewater Bandits, Middlesex Islanders, Minuteman Flames, Providence Capitals, South Shore Kings, and Top Gun, the league has grown to include 21 associations with 6000 players involved annually. Many of the top NHL and College Hockey players got their start with the “FED”.

Our girl's Teams proudly participate in the New England girls Hockey League. Established in the 1970's the NEGHL remains the strongest, most competitive girls and women's hockey league in the United States. With more than 30 organizations representing over 220 women's teams from across New England, while offering multiple levels of competition it is the best league available to female hockey players.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR LEADERSHIP

dowe

PAUL DOWE - PRESIDENT

Paul played youth hockey for this organization under the direction and guidance of Gary Dineen. He played Juniors in OPJHL for the Cobourg Cougars and then went on to play at SUNY Plattsburgh. He had a very impressive playing career at Plattsburgh where he won a National Championship in 2001. Following his playing career at Plattsburgh, Paul started his coaching career coaching for Ellington High School co-op known as Tri-Town Hockey. He helped build Tri-Town into a perennial powerhouse in Northern CT.

“I am extremely excited to give back to the organization that gave me so much as a player growing up,” Dowe said. “The hockey culture is ever changing and, as an organization, we want to evolve and provide the best playing experience possible for our players. We are going to offer an outstanding product and limit the number of teams at each level to just two per age group. This will ensure that the right players are being offered the chance to develop their game in the right league”.
