2022-2023 will be Scott’s first season with MassConn as Head Coach of the 08’s Elites. For the previous two seasons, he was the Head Coach of the Springfield Rifles 08 Elites helping the team capture both the Buffalo Cup Tournament and the CCM World Invite Boston tournaments during the 2021-2022 season. Scott’s hockey background includes playing prep hockey for Culver Military Academy before playing 4 years at Boston College, where he was an Assistant Captain and the Coaches Award recipient his senior year. Although a draft choice of the Detroit Red Wings, he attended training camp with the San Jose Sharks in 1993 and 1994, ultimately playing in the CHL for both Ft. Worth and San Antonio. Prior to its sale, Scott maintained a 30 plus year relationship with Minnesota Hockey Camps both as a player and coach. He currently holds a Level 4 certification from USA hockey.
